I’m excited to link up with 4th Grade Frolics for Monday Made It!
My first project is this silly bulletin board made of some thrift store neckties. I made the big turkey and then realized I could us the little tie ends I had left to make a baby turkey. This is a library bulletin board so the turkey is saying “Be thankful for good books…and eat more ham!”
A few weeks ago, my daughter came home from school and announced that she needed a tuna fish costume for her musical at school…a tuna fish! I looked up what they look like to at least get an idea for color. I ended up buying a cheap dress from a thrift store as something to start with. Then I traced around a small bowl and cut out lots and lots of circles for the scales. After sewing on the rows of scales, I added some tulle strips for the tail.
My third project is actually a redo. I decorated the wreath on the left a few years ago and decided to update it recently. I’m pretty sure my husband thought I was bonkers when I was filling our cart at Michael’s with fake lemons! Thank goodness for husbands that just roll with it : )

My fourth “made it” is a FREEBIE! I’ve been adding holiday items to my store this year. Here is a Thanksgiving color by number that helps kids practice adding and subtracting 10 from a 2-digit number. Click on the picture to snag your copy.
This color by number is one page from my new Thanksgiving packet. I have versions for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Everything in the packet is Common Core aligned and no-prep! Lots of fun activities including number patterns on turkey feathers, sorting pies with phonics patterns, expanded form numbers on fall produce, and much
Thanks for stopping by!
