Its the 2nd Monday of the month which means its time for Monday Made It with Fourth Grade Frolics!

There is never any lack of projects to work on in my life so I’m excited to share with you what I’ve been up to lately.
I love to make greeting cards and recently found a card swap club to join.  These are two cards I made for our November swap.

My never-ending quest to decorate my house continues!  I decided to take my color scheme in a new direction so I recovered a couple of old throw pillows with new fabric.

I went to school from the late 80s through the 90s, so I consider myself an expert on the gaudy fashion niche of holiday sweaters (frequently worn by my teachers).  This year I’ve been trying to put out more products for holidays so I knew I had to work in the holiday sweater theme for Christmas.  I came up with this eye-sore of a freebie:

And because I can just never get enough of anchor charts, here’s one I made about nonfiction text structures:

Teaching kids to recognize text structure is a way to help their comprehension.  If they can figure out what structure the author is using, then they know what to look for and expect in the text.  I’ve written more about it here: Nonfiction Text Structures (includes a downloadable version of the above chart)
